A month ago, a four-day, 121-kilometer journey on the Path of Master Xuanzang inspired countless outstanding entrepreneurs to strive for excellence. The Gobi Desert, the vast wilderness, the stars, the tents, the teammates, and themselves—all became indelible memories of their lives. A month later, they gathered again at Olympic Forest Park, filled with insights and longing.
On the afternoon of June 5th, a grand event themed "Chasing Horizons, Walking Together" was held. The ceremony was hosted by Alliance Institute and the Xuanzang Road Series Organizing Committee (Xingzhi Exploring Culture Group), and co-organized by JC Capital, CEFOC, Beijing Transtrue Technology Inc., No.1 Sport, JIUWU HI-TECH, Anbang Logistics, and China Evergrande Group.
Distinguished guests included the Dean of Alliance Institute; Zhou Mo, Vice President of Xingzhi Exploring Culture Group; Fu Jia, Member Support Representative of Xingzhi; Song Fei (Team Leader of Renmin University Ultra Gobi 16th); Ma Xin (Team Leader of Communication University of China Ultra Gobi 16th); Dai Qingjun (Member of the 15th Ultra Gobi Rules Committee); along with members of the Alliance Institute Ultra Gobi 16th team and participants from other universities, who delivered speeches or shared their insights.

The Dean of Alliance Institute delivered a keynote speech titled "I Run, Therefore I Am." She shared the impact of the Gobi Desert on her personally and on the team from four perspectives: "Seeing Myself," "Seeing Others," "Seeing the World," and "The Unity of Knowledge and Action." She emphasized that only with a strong sense of self-drive can an individual or a business become truly powerful. Whether achieving strong performance in the Gobi Desert or building a successful enterprise, there is always a well-positioned and well-coordinated team behind it. Personal goals must be subordinate to team goals! Only with a strong enough heart can one's goals be lofty. May everyone stay true to their original aspiration and return still young at heart.
All members of the Alliance Institute Ultra Gobi 16th team successfully completed the race, claiming the Shackleton Award, and sweeping the Top 5 individual spots in Open Group Team B and the individual championship in Team C. These outstanding achievements would not have been possible without the tremendous support from senior Gobi Buddies, fellow alumni, and the Organizing Committee of the Xuanzang Road.
Since the preparations for Ultra Gobi 16th began, Yang Bin has been actively involved in various support efforts. Kangbit, a company invested in by the firm where Guan Xianyue works, supplied its flagship products—energy gels, salt tablets, and protein bars—ensuring the team's energy needs were fully met. Dai Qingjun provided guidance to the Alliance Institute Gobi team from its very inception. Fu Jia, Member Support from the Organizing Committee, ensured timely and accurate communication of all requirements and directives. Team member Wang Guohong welcomed the team at the finish line and helped prepare the celebration banquet. It was the collective effort of many that made the entire journey of the Alliance Institute Ultra Gobi 16th—from preparation to participation and the return celebration—run so smoothly.
Under the gaze and witness of all guests, academy leaders, and alumni, the Team Leader of the Alliance Institute Ultra Gobi 17th team solemnly received the team flag—a symbol of the spirit—from Zhang Lin, Team Leader of Ultra Gobi 16th. The new leader pledged to honor the mission and strive for even greater achievements. The members of the Alliance Institute team then took an oath before the team flag: "As members of the Alliance Institute Ultra Gobi 17th team, we pledge to unite with sincerity, work in concert, sweat together, and stand as one. We will set out together and arrive together."
One Heart, One Alliance!
