On August 11th, 2023,Alliance Institute held the Return Day for the 17th Ultra Gobi at Hunan Greesen.
He Haiying, Chairman of Hunan Gengsheng, Deng Jue, Deputy General Manager, along with the Dean of Alliance Institute, members of 17th Ultra Gobi, Gobi Buddies from 16th Ultra Gobi, and Alliance Institute alumni—14 people in total—attended the event.
Deng Jue, Deputy General Manager of Greesen,led the guests on a tour of the Gengai Magic Box, the Greesen Exhibition Hall, the Gengai 4.0 System Windows and Doors Experience Hall, and the Intelligent Manufacturing Production Workshop. The visit gave the guests an in-depth understanding of Greesen's development history, management philosophy, and signature products, allowing them to experience firsthand the product advantages, forward-looking technology, and systematic design of system windows and doors. The information-driven and intelligent production workshop also reshaped everyone's perception of the window and door manufacturing industry.
At the opening of the ceremony, a commemorative video of 17th Ultra Gobi was played, instantly bringing everyone back to those thrilling and inspiring moments. The four days and three nights of fighting side by side through wind and sand seemed to come alive again.
The Gobi Buddies from 17th Ultra Gobi shared their inner journeys. Some spoke of feeling the grandeur of nature and the vastness of the universe in the endless Gobi, their minds suddenly enlightened; others described how pushing themselves to the limits rekindled their passion for life; still others recounted the unity and mutual support, experiencing a bond forged in life-and-death moments.
For this event, two Gobi Buddies from 16th Ultra Gobi, Wang Xiaohu and Wang Fenggang, also joined the Return Day, gathering together to share Gobi memories with the team.
The Dean of Alliance Institute extended congratulations on the outstanding achievements of 17th Ultra Gobi and noted that Gobi Buddies joining Alliance Institute is not a one-way choice, but a mutual commitment between the Institute and its Gobi companions. "The Gobi spirit has illuminated Alliance Institute," she said, "and we hope that Gobi Buddies will carry forward the spirit and soul of the Gobi Challenge."
Subsequently, He Haiying, Chairman of Greesen, delivered a closing speech, expressing sincere admiration for the members of the17th Ultra Gobi team. She stated that the power of a team is limitless—it was the mutual companionship, support, and encouragement among the team members that enabled them to complete this arduous journey of soul-stirring insight together. She concluded by wishing everyone health, happiness, academic growth, and intellectual enlightenment.
