As the 17th Ultra Gobi Challenge comes to a close, the team members have gradually returned to their respective cities. Work and life will soon return to normal. Taking time to reflect on the emotional journey of this period—the tension during the competition, the joy and relief after it—all has settled quietly in the wash of time.
Every day in the Gobi, we staggered forward, but each step was firm. The daily dust and fatigue were our tribute to the desert. We are not strong, but we are extremely tough. Four days and three nights, 121 kilometers—no words can describe it, and no language can fully express it. I know that in this world, the connection between us and others, between us and all things, exists only in this lifetime, only in this moment. However long or short, however deep or shallow, it can be encountered but not sought after. Do not dwell on the pain of the journey, nor concern yourself too much with the length of time—the anticipation before the journey, the emotions along the way, and the memories afterward—that is enough.
The Ultra Gobi Challenge is a precious experience that allows us to reflect on our inner selves, collide with wisdom, reshape who we are, and transcend our limits at the edge of collapse. It is worthy of every participant's effort.
Captain Hai Gang said: "We crossed the desert together, we fought the Gobi together, we faced the hardships together, and together we succeeded in obtaining the scriptures. When I saw everyone crossing the finish line together—in pain and in joy, accepting the washing of tears—at that moment, everyone was a hero."
"Once you invest, you will surely reap the rewards at some point!" This year's results have become history. Throughout the journey, I have chosen, experienced, persevered, and worked hard. Though there are regrets, I still look forward to a new beginning and new gains. Thank you to Alliance Institute for your trust, support, and help. Thank you to all the teammates who fought alongside me. I firmly believe that there are moments and memories that will forever exist in that long river beneath the setting sun.

Looking ahead, Captain Hai Gang hopes that more people will join Alliance Institute—to experience the magnificent scenery of the desert and Gobi with us, to feel the struggle deep within the heart, and to embrace the joy and emotion of being reborn.
